-Americans were exhausted, and had a difficult time adjusting to their lives back home, and to make matters worse, the living price had doubled.

- The american soldiers were stressed. Their fear of outsiders helped prejudice build against foreign-born people all over the nation.

-The palmer raids violated peoples civil rights. The raids were to find out who was suspect of trying to overthrow U.S. government.
